Other points in the heating oil system can become clogged too: oil safety valves (OSVs), filters, the screen in the fuel unit, the fuel unit check valve and stop valve, and the oil burner nozzle itself. Drainage grates are used to cap drainpipes, keeping debris out and helping to prevent clogged drains. A jet nozzle provides the pulling and cleaning force.
